Visual Description[]
A Middle Eastern character. Saracen is an Arab or Muslim, at the time of the Crusades.[1] He wears a turban, has purple irises in his character portrait, a beard, and wears a brown tunic.
Castle Crashers[]
Saracens are found in the Desert Chase, Sand Castle Interior and Sand Castle Roof levels.
There are multiple Saracens in the Desert Chase level, multiple in Sand Castle Interior (including a Beefy version), and the most in Sand Castle Roof with the presence of another Beefy.
Finally, the Saracen is fought for the final time in Wizard Castle Interior in the second wave of the Necromancer boss fight.

Splash Attack

Max Hits: Based on max mana amount and how long the button is held for (approx. 12-15 seconds)
Damage/Hit: Base Melee Damage
Use // to perform. This spell initially deals damage using your Magic, then continues dealing damage which depends on your Strength.
There are many practical uses for this Splash Attack and the Air Projectile, but the Air Projectile primarily. The Splash Attack can be used to store or reset Elemental Infusions, trap heavyweights, and can even be used to skip a level.
Magic Projectile
"Sand Blast"Element: Non-Elemental
Damage: Base Magic Damage x 0.3
Use // to perform. Five gusts of sand spread out upward, having high knockback for lightweights and middleweights. This spell can be used in combination with fly combos to set up juggles and pairs well with the Air Projectile. Unblockable with a shield up, to opposing players in Arena or so.
Air Projectile

Max Hits: Based on max mana amount and how long the button is held for (approx. 12-15 seconds)
Damage/Hit: Base Melee Damage
Use , /, /, to perform. This spell initially deals damage using Magic, then continues dealing damage according to the player’s Strength. There are many practical uses for this Air Projectile and the Splash Attack, but the Air Projectile primarily. The Air Projectile can be used to accrue extra hits on lightweights, middleweights, and heavyweights in juggles; Sandstorm tek, Sandstorm slide, spellweave, et cetera.
Elemental Infusion
"Armor Pierce"Element: Non-Elemental
Damage: Base Magic Damage x 2 + Base Melee Damage x 2
Use / / to perform. This attack pierces armor, and it deals two times normal damage.
Magic Jump
"Dust Jump"Element: Non-Elemental
Damage: Base Magic Damage
Use // to perform. Leaps up with a dusty, but different sounding effect that damages overlapped enemies.
Tips[]
- Use a Strength heavy weapon to take advantage of Saracen's Splash Attack and Air Projectile.
- If playing with another player or more, the other player can coordinate with the Saracen player to pin certain enemies up against a wall like in Industrial Castle. The other player can use juggling or spam Magic Projectiles and Air Projectiles.

- The Traitor Achievement/Trophy can be obtained by completing Sand Castle Roof as Saracen.
- The 3 regular Saracens and the Beefy Saracen in the Volleyball Game can be hit but not killed.
- However, they can hit and even kill the player.
- "Saracen" is what the Christian forces of the Middle Ages called the Egyptian Muslims under the rule of Saladin.
- Saracens can be resurrected as enemy Skeletons in Lava World by the Necromancer.
- The Saracen's Sandstorm Splash Attack and Air Projectile hits slower than the Bear's Tornado Splash Attack and Air Projectile.
