The Practice Foil is one of the 84 weapons a player can obtain in the game Castle Crashers.

Description[]

The Practice Foil, or Wizard's Wand, can be purchased in the Church Store for 210 gold. On Insane Mode, in the Xbox One version, the Practice Foil is replaced by the 2x4. If paired up with Beholder, the Practice Foil finally gets a Magic boost. It appears to actually be the Evil Wizard's main weapon of choice, as seen in all levels that show off the final boss, barring his use of the Demon Sword at his final phase. For the Evil Wizard, the weapon can perform a dark Magic Projectile and Splash Attack in his second phase.

Players must have a Level of 10 or more to wield it.

Trivia[]

  • The Practice Foil has not moved from Group 6.
  • Contrary to what one would believe, this provides a greater Agility bonus than a Magic bonus. This is strange because the Evil Wizard used it as an evil wand in every cutscene.
  • A possible explanation for this: the Evil Wizard has an immense amount of Magic, and he doesn't need a boost.
  • It is also possible that the creators gave the Evil Wizard this weapon because it most resembles a wand.
  • The Practice Foil along with the Butcher Knife, are the only store bought weapons to be used for enemies. For the Butcher Knife, it is used by the enemy NPC Stove Faces.
