The Pirate Ship is the twenty-first level in Castle Crashers. It is a very quick and easy level if you know how to juggle. On Insane Mode, the Ninjas could prove to be fatal if one isn't careful about dodging their telegraphed attacks or if the player(s) attack them normally.
Walkthrough[]
After you've set sail, a pirate ship pulls alongside your vessel. First, four cannonballs are fired and drop on your ship. Run around to avoid them. Red targets will appear to indicate where the cannonballs will land shortly thereafter (this is identical to the cannonball fire encountered in the Wedding Crash and Barbarian War levels). Next, a wave of Ninjas will board your ship and attack you. Once they have been defeated, the whole process repeats once. Avoid four more cannonballs, then fend off the second wave of Ninjas. Afterward, the Ninja's pirate ship sinks and you complete your voyage to the Desert.
When the level starts, It'd be wise not to break the four barrels around you, they contain food which you might need later. This works better if you use Piggy here.
Ninjas are nearly immune to ground-based melee attacks, but juggling them yields the usual result just like other light enemies.

Animal Orbs[]
There are no animal orbs to be found on this level.
Notes[]
- Ninjas make the different noises from their Magic. When they jump onto your ship, they make their Magic Jump noise, when they use a decoy, they make their Splash Attack noise, and when they reappear or perform their spinning flying kick move, they make their Projectile Magic noise.

Trivia[]
- The music that plays during the fight with the Ninjas is Chaoz Japan by ParagonX9.
- The Ninjas also being pirates is a nod to the internet meme, Pirates versus Ninjas.
- In the background after the first wave of pirates is a brief battle between a giant robot and a giant squid.
- When struck with any ground-based melee attack, the Ninjas will use a diversion with decoys made from logs. When struck, the decoys will fall over and disappear, and the real Ninjas will reappear nearby as they retaliate back at the player(s) with their flying spinning kicks. This tactic is probably inspired by the Body Replacement Technique from the Japanese manga series Naruto.
- The flying spinning kicks from the NPC Ninjas are the same as their Magic Projectile.
- This level is in part of the Character Unlock Skip glitch for Any% speedruns of Castle Crashers. This skips over Forest Entrance, Thieves' Forest, Thieves' Store, Thieves' Arena, Abandoned Mill, Rapids Ride, Catfish, Tall Grass Field, Pipistrello's Cave, Flowery Field, Wedding Crash, Church Store, Parade, Cyclops' Cave, Cyclops' Gate, Cyclops' Fortress, Lava World, Volcano Store, Volcano Arena, Industrial Castle, and Dock. So, you skip 21 levels if you do the glitch right.
