Pazzo

Pazzo is one of the 29 Animal Orbs a player can obtain in the game Castle Crashers.

Location[]

Pazzo is located at the Snow Store where he can be purchased for 750 gold in the original, or 455 in Remastered/PC. In the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 versions of Remastered, Pazzo is replaced with the Ninja Claw on Insane Mode.

Primary Ability

"Treasure Locator"

Pazzo locates buried treasure for the player. When Pazzo locates a buried item, he will hover over it, scratching at the ground.

Pazzo is purchasable in the Snow Store, where the Skeleton Leg weapon can be dug up, presumably to demonstrate his ability and how useful he is to the player. Pazzo can also find the Ice Sword in the Ice Castle level, which is also in an unmarked digspot.

Hidden Ability

"Defense Boost"

Increases the player's Defense by +2. This effect is only in the Remastered versions of Castle Crashers.

Pazzo is based on a real dog with the same name. As of January 2020, Pazzo had passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Here is his Facebook page for anyone who wants to learn more about Pazzo. Mr. Buddy and Sherbert are two other animal orbs based on real-life pets.
Pazzo resembles a Shiba Inu.
In Italian, "pazzo" means "crazy".
At the Barracks Party after the ending credits, Pazzo can be seen at the Barracks flying above the party-goers.
In the end credits, the name "Pazzo" appears under "Special Thanks".
Pazzo, Burly Bear, Chicken, Snailburt, and Spiny are the only Animal Orbs in the entire game that increase Defense.
