The Emerald Sword is purchasable from the Insane Store, ultimately for 1200 gold, due to Hatty Hattington being required to unlock in order to obtain the weapon, on the Xbox One version. On the PC version, you will need to instead buy BattleBlock Theater and start up Castle Crashers after doing so.

The Emerald Sword is a weapon that is unlocked by at least gaining one achievement in BattleBlock Theater in the Xbox 360 version and starting up Castle Crashers after doing so. However, in order to keep the weapon in the Weapons Frog, forever, is to complete Castle Keep before deciding to swap the weapon for a different weapon, or if you quit the game, which won't keep track of the weapon; even if you used the weapon trading track. For the PS3 version, you will need to instead purchase and download the Can't Stop Crying Pack for $1.99. Lastly, for the PC version, you will need to purchase BattleBlock Theater through Steam and start up Castle Crashers immediately afterwards. However, as of October 15th, 2015, the Emerald Sword now has the Xbox One stats if bought currently on the PC.
