Beefy AI Manipulation (BAM) is an exploit discovered in 2018 by some players of the game Castle Crashers. The exploit makes it so that the Beefy enemies will be stuck on a piece of scenery or wall; unable to attack the player freely from within punching and grabbing range.
The Trick[]
The goal of the BAM is to get a Beefy enemy in a position in which it cannot hit you due to the hitbox being skewed.
Locations[]
This manipulation can be done in four different levels, on 7 different Beefys.
Industrial Castle[]
The Brute can be easily beaten using this method. Place yourself in the position shown in the picture on the right, and spam the Heavy Attack or modified Elemental Infusion input. Please note that if you use any other attack, the Beefy will attack you, and you'll have to do the setup all over again.
Sand Castle Interior[]
For the first Beefy in this section, you'll need to have your head pushed against the log and hit the Beefy from there. Again, spam the Heavy Attack or modified Elemental Infusion input. (Picture for reference)
Since the second Beefy comes from the left, you'll need to be beside the shovel, on the right side. Repeat the Heavy Attack or modified Elemental Infusion input once again (Picture for reference)
Alternatively Bomb the cracked wall where Scratchpaw is near and get the Beefys up against the wall. Position yourself at the open space.
Full Moon[]
Please note that the spots in this section are only for reference, as some of them won't work in certain conditions while others will work instead in the same situations, depending on the Stove Face's AI.
For the first Beefy of this section, you need to align yourself with the tree in the background, and you also need to be on the high end of the slope. Be aware of the Stove Face's AI while heavy attacking or using the modified Elemental Infusion input, they can sometimes attack you. (Picture for reference)
The second Full Moon Beefy is the hardest one to get right, so there are two setups possible: Where I am in the picture on the right is the most optimal one, but the previous setup also works with this one.
The last and final Beefy you can use the BAM on is very easy to get a good setup on. Just position yourself in front on the big rock in the picture.
Wizard Castle Interior[]
The Brute can be manipulated to the left side of the wall in the Necromancer's Room. By using a Splash Attack that reliably hits the Brute up close to the player, using a Magic Jump up close, or blocking the Brute's punches and kicks until in range; and then simply turning to the left, the Brute will be stuck to the wall. For the final time in a Normal Mode or Insane Mode play through, spam the Heavy Attack or use the reverse modified Elemental Infusion input.

Discovery and Examples[]

Notes[]
- There is a great chance that the Beefy will retaliate with punches sooner if a player keeps performing Elemental Infusions. This can be prevented by first performing 1-2 Elemental Infusion combo(s), casting Magic Projectiles, or using the exact input invented by TheWorst429. One method will reset the Beefy's hit counter, while the other will not reset the hit counter, even if used by multiple people.
